Pfaff Motorsports grew out of H.J. Pfaff Motors, a Porsche dealership group founded by Hans Pfaff in 1964. The racing side began with the 1986 Rothmans Porsche 944 Cup, winning the championship with Scott Goodyear two years later. The team joined IMSA in 2019 and within three years had claimed the GTD championship (2021), the GTD Pro championship (2022) and the Rolex 24 at Daytona GTD Pro class (2022).
