The story
Premcar traces its origins to 1996 when it was founded as Tickford Vehicle Engineering to develop performance Falcons for Ford Australia, starting with the EL GT. After passing through several ownership structures, a 2012 management buyout led by Bernie Quinn and Jim Jovanovski created the independent Premcar entity. Since that transition, the company has built more than 200,000 vehicles and 55,000 engines, with the Nissan Navara and Patrol Warrior programs as its most visible current work.
