🔗 lingenfelter.comThe story
John Lingenfelter founded Lingenfelter Performance Engineering in Decatur, Indiana in 1973 after leaving International Harvester's engine development laboratory. He became the first drag racer to break the six-second quarter-mile barrier on gasoline, and the company built a long record of NHRA event wins. After his death in 2003, Ken Lingenfelter took over and expanded the business.
